This talk by Kevin Varty is an opportunity to view a Magic Lantern presentation which shows how, as result of the Defence of the Realm Act, illustrations of the Great War were heavily censored for the Home Front. The images, taken from popular newspapers and glass slides for public exhibition, are shown in their original form, but included in the presentation will be a rare selection of uncensored American slides.
