Henley Bar & Grill is located in the beautiful town of Henley-on-Thames. Situated in the heart of this historic market town in a charming 17th Century building the Henley Bar & Grill is a fantastic addition to the local scene.
Henley Bar & Grill offers a fresh and innovative approach to brasserie cuisine. The venue is perfect for a relaxing lunch, romantic dinner or indeed, just a few drinks with friends.
In June 2005 the Henley Bar & Grill was renovated, creating a stunning interior that perfectly marries the old with the new. Comfortable booths and an airy conservatory create a contemporary twist to the restaurant, while the bar still retains many of the traditional Grade II features with an open fire, original beams and flooring. The main restaurant offers a romantic backdrop for an intimate meal-a-deux, whilst the conservatory provides an ideal spot for daytime occasions and has comfortable booths for sharing with friends.
Guests can choose from a set menu, A La Carte or daily specials. Head Chef Andy Cojocoru has cleverly created a clean and crisp brasserie style menu for the restaurant, which perfectly compliments the interior décor. Customers can choose from dishes such as Marinated Beef Carpaccio with Rocket Salad and Port Mascarpone Mousse, Moules Mariniere / Provencal or Grilled Goat’s Cheese on a bed of Chargrilled Vegetables. Main courses include Medallion of Pork Tender Loin in a French Mustard and Mushroom Sauce, Marinated Barbery Duck Breast in a Red Wine and Orange Sauce or Mushroom Risotto, with Garlic, Mascarpone and Fresh Herbs. Ananas Carpaccio and Hot Chocolate Fondant are delicious to finish.
The Henley Bar & Grill, once The Bull Bar & Brasserie, is a destination for both locals and visitors to this beautiful town. You will definitely want to return to this enclave of modern meets old.
