Henley in the 1960's

In the summer of 1965 I worked as a lock-keeper for the Thames Conservancy. I was based at Goring but also did regular stints at Cleeve, Pangbourne, Mapledurham,Reading and Sonning. When winter came I got a bed sit overlooking the river in Henley about half way between The Angel and the station. I worked as a milkman from Cliffords Dairies in Wargrave and delivered in Twyford. Lovely part of the world down there (I'm in North Wales now) and I met some great people. Some lock keepers names I remember are Harry Coley, Brian Webb, Fred Maggs. I anyone reading this has any connection with lock keeping or Cliffords Dairies, I'd be happy to hear from you.
